CASS HERE

Cass, Cassie, Cassandra (thanks to Wayne's World)... outdoor enthusiast, mediocre surfer, novice mountain biker, will "ooh and ahh" at packaging, and I truly enjoy building brands and meeting visions.

I am a photographer and designer, with experience that spans from brand identity, art direction, and photography. I have collaborated with clients in diverse sectors, including home goods, skincare,  and fashion of varying company sizes and I truly love what I do. I am so excited you are here!

I grew up in a small town on the California coast, perpetually mesmerized by its nooks and crannies.

My creative process is about moving at a relaxed pace, digging into the feeling we want to portray, and creating a supportive space together.

  • (In no particular order)

    1. You feeling excited about working together

    2. Being super kind! Using "!"! Compliments + encouragement!

    3. Great light (I love flash photography, afternoon light before the golden hour, sun sun sun, a good fill light.

    4. A clear direction + decisiveness

    5. COLOR

    6. Photos that feel calm and close

    7. Allowing space for play

  • Two things matter most to me:

    1. That you love what we create together.

    2. That the whole team feels supported, heard, excited, and there's a sense of ease on set.

I've been told I have a calm vibe on shoot days (my favorite compliment), which allows space for more creativity, play, and overall an experience we all want more of.

A lot of this comes down to pre-production (and my Virgo tendencies). AKA clear art direction + moodboard, a realistic shotlist (I'm speaking to you, you dreamers), plan a's + b's especially if we're shooting with natural light, and the right people for each role.
